There Will Always Be Paris...
Right. Well I wanted to post the rest of my trip earlier, but you know how it is with school and stuff. At least I'll manage to put a few pictures here!

March 9th: So everyone woke up at 7 for breakfast. Now I'm not a morning person, but I was wide awake. Probably adrenaline huh? Breakfast food was super good. At least the croissant anyway. But I expected as much. After that we got on a coach bus and took a scenic tour of the city.

After that, we headed to Notre Dame cathedral. It was pretty cool (minus the fact that everyone was drenched from the rain outside). Seeing something like that makes you wonder how humans built something so tall, and with so much care. After that we all split up for lunch. I ended up at a small Gyros/sandwich/crepe shop with 4 other people. I still can't believe I ate a foot-long chicken baguette. Oh well. It was good. In the afternoon, we went to the Picasso museum. Imo, that was rather dull. I can only take so much Picasso. So a lot of us left early and walked around the area, which was rather Picasso itself. I found this awesome sweater plus matching hat, but I wasn't ready to spend 50 euro. After that, we all went to dinner at a place called Flan, which was a type of thin crust pizza w/o the tomato sauce plus other toppings. Dessert was of similar style, but instead of meat, it was chocolate chips as toppings. After dinner, we went for a boat cruise on the Sen, seeing some highlights of Paris by night. After that was over, we took the elevator up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was an awesome view of the city.
March 10th: It was a rather slow start to the day. No one had gotten a wakeup call, so we all woke up an hour later. In any case, we quickly ate breakfast and headed to the Musée d'Orsay, which is this small museum built inside this old train station. We spent no more then an hour there, before heading off to Versailles. It was this huge castle built by Louis XIV, and I can't even begin to describe how beautiful it was. If you watch the movie Marie Antoinette, well, you'll see what I'm talking about. We ate lunch in a small cafe outside the castle, which was quite nice. We were actually really lucky it was sunny, because we got to sit on the terrace. In the evening we spent a lot of time in Montmartre, which is the bohemian part of the city. So we saw things like the Moulin Rouge, the writers' cafes, those sorts of things. Oh, also the Sacré Coeur.

March 11th: It was a pretty lazy day. We woke up, ate the usual croissant and bread for breakfast, and took the Metro down to the Louvre. Wow. Another huge museum.

So we saw all the things we needed to: Mona Lisa (which is really quite a small picture, especially on a huge wall), the Venus DeMilo (I didn't really get that one...) and so on. We got to walk around the Tuilleries outside, and around the area, which was very city-esque. Dinner was early, as we had to go back to our hotel and pack up. We were taking a night train, of course, since no trip to Europe would be complete without one. So, it's 11 PM, and we're leaving Paris. Let me tell you, we didn't think it was going to be that long of a night. But, of course, we were wrong.

South of France and Spain comes next!

Anyways...spent two whole periods in spanish hearing about everything, so didn't wanna hear it again. But still, glad you had fun.

XD

It's alright. I'm in the first picture. On the left. (Kind of hard to see but... *shrugs*)
It was my first time in Paris. It was pretty cool. But slightly overrated, I found. But maybe that's just me.

Aw, haha, you're cute XD

I think it's overrated being the city of love and all that. I just love the language. And my parens and sister lived there for a bit, so I kinda have to, too.
